Laura E. Fan is the head of funding, treasury division at the Inter-American Development Bank.  She is responsible for overseeing the IADB’s bond issuance and related derivatives operations in the international capital markets and investor relations programme.  Before this, she worked at Societe Generale Securities, New York, in various positions, including quantitative analysis and marketing, and ending as a vice president, fixed income sales.  She holds a master of arts degree in economics from Columbia University, New York, and a bachelor of arts in economics along with a bachelor of science in finance from Pennsylvania State University.
